The item itself is awesome. You just snap it in place and that's it. I have no challenge with it considering the fact that I bought it in Can of last year. I purchased this knob to replace the original knob on my Whirlpool front load washer. Regrettably, now it's my dryer knob that demands replacing. It's just sad that Whirlpool created crappy knobs for a incredibly highly-priced washer and dryer. Anyway, I would have given it 5 stars. Then again, for a compact plastic knob, it cost a lot particularly the ridiculous shipping and handling charges. It is less than 13 ounces. The replacement knob I bought at [...] last year cost [...] plus [...] shipping and handling fee that totaled to [...]. Now, they're promoting it for [...] with the identical shipping and handling fee that totals to [...] Think about how significantly it'll price next year. Overall, I would recommend buying this replacement knob to Whirlpool washer and dryer owners. Make sure you get two as the costs go up each and every year.
This is my second replacement knob for my dryer so I was ECSTATIC to see that the back of the knob now has a metal reinforcement! I am particularly hopeful that this a single will last longer.
