Anti-Vibration Pads for Washers and Dryers

Consumer Critiques

Purchased one set when I purchased my new washer (and dryer) which are positioned on the main level of my personal. Vibration and noise have always been a concern. Loved them so significantly I purchased a second set for my dryer. Not only do they function, but they lift the units up sufficient to permit me to clean below them any time I want No far more pulling my washer and dryer out to clean under them - in a pretty tight space - and working with a lot of energy and time. Shop for some. I do not believe you will be disappointed... primarily if your appliances located on the upper levels of your home.

Disclaimer very first, I truly bought this item at a local Property Depot.
I have an LG front-loading washing machine. It is are great except, you guessed it, the outstanding vibrations throughout spin cycle. I have a laundry room on the very first level among the kitchen and the garage, but the laundry space also sits atop of my basement, so there is not concrete floor underneath it. Just a vinyl (i.e. flexible) flooring, subfloor and then open space underneath. Pretty considerably the worst flooring you can have for high speed washers. When the washer spins up, it sounds like there is a helicopter hoving overhead and you can really feel the vibration on the other side of the kitchen by way of the floor. When I started researching this issue, I was Fairly skeptical of the several pads readily available. But it was either this, or moving the machines to a various place and installing new plumbing. I also read individuals have accomplishment by placing down 3/4" plywood underneath the washer, but that is a tacky appear I would rather steer clear of.
The pads are rubber with a hardness somewhere amongst car tires and a hockey puck. Installing the pads was a breeze: lift up one side, slide the pad in, align and drop back down repeat. There is a circular recess cut into the best of each and every pad for aligning with the feet of your washer and grooves on the opposite side for gripping the floor. Once installed, I place in a load of laundry to test and amazingly enough, they worked! The washer itself nonetheless vibrates fairly a bit, but the pads somehow absorb most of the vibrations and keep them from being transfer to the floor. I could not really feel any vibrations if I stand way more than a few feet away from the washer, and this is a tremendous improvement for me. I end up acquiring a second set to even the heights of washer/dryer.
Anyway, revenue properly spent for me. I can't speak for everyone's circumstance, but if you have related flooring as mine, give it a shot and see what they can do for you.
